The Honua Kai - Ka'anapali

We will be staying here at the Honua Kai in Ka'anapali along with the bridal party. There are a lot of other options in Ka'anapali that are within walking distance and beach front!

There are a lot of hotel options on the west side of Maui. Ka'anapali has some of the best beaches with hotels almost exclusively oceanfront. Check them out!

Rental Properties (AirBnb/VRBO)

The first time we visited Hawaii together was in an AirBnb and it was exactly what we needed. If you don't see any options there you can always check VRBO where you'll always get a house to yourself.

Once You're There

We’re excited to share some of our favorite places in the area with you.

Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice

This shave ice see's us at least 5-6 times when we visit Maui. We still haven't found a shave ice place that comes close.

Jazzy's Favorite: Broke Da Mouth with haupia ice cream & li hing mui powder.

AJ's Favorite: Li hing mui and mango, haupia ice cream, snow cap, and li hing mui powder.

Lineage
Wailea

Located at the Shops of Wailea, Lineage is one of our favorite spots for date night on the island.

Honorary mentions: A5 Japanese wagyu ribeye (usually served with finadene) and their steamed local fish.

Wailuku

Our favorite spot for Hawaiian comfort food owned by Chef Sheldon Simeon.

Honorary mentions: Wailuku saimin, "just like oxtail" soup, & their crispy pork belly.

Da Kitchen
Kihei

Need to squeeze in a quick meal without sacrificing taste? Your answer: Da Kitchen.

Honorary mentions: kalbi ribs, garlic noodles, saimin, and chicken katsu. Do not sub out their potato mac salad on their combo plates. You will regret it.

Regardless which Hawaiian island you go to, Foodland will always have the best  poké. Grab a couple containers from the poké counter, white rice, and head to the beach. You can thank us later.
